Romvos Glass S.A. is one of the leading glass processors and manufacturers in Greece and in Europe — a B2B-first industrial company operating out of Aigaleo, Athens, producing tempered safety glass, laminated glass, heat-strengthened glass, double-glazing units, mirror glass, UV-protective glass, and a full line of securit door systems and folding wall partitions. The visual identity had to carry the credibility of a serious industrial manufacturer while remaining accessible to the architects, interior designers, construction companies, and hospitality procurement managers who form the site’s primary audience.

A deep navy palette with cool glass-blue accents was the natural choice — reflecting the material itself, the clarity and precision of processed glass, and the industrial authority of a manufacturer operating at European scale. Clean white surfaces and generous negative space allow product photography and technical specification tables to lead, in keeping with the professional specifier audience who visits the site to evaluate technical capabilities rather than browse a showroom.

The bilingual site (Greek and English) required a consistent visual identity that reads with equal authority in both language versions — the English version serving international clients, partner companies, and the global glass industry community through platforms like glassonweb.com where Romvos Glass is listed as an international supplier. The glass product photography — flat panels, door systems, folding partition installations in hospitality and commercial settings — was treated with technical precision: consistent lighting, clean backgrounds, and dimensioned compositions that communicate product specifications visually.

Design approach

The site serves a professional B2B audience — architects, construction project managers, interior designers, glazing contractors, and hospitality procurement teams — who arrive with specific technical requirements and need to evaluate product specifications, available dimensions, and compatible fittings quickly. The product architecture was structured accordingly: a glass types section covering Annealed, Extra Clear (Low Iron), Thermally Toughened, Heat Strengthened, Laminated Safety, and UV Protective glasses; a securit doors section with freely definable sheet dimensions; a door systems section covering folding partition systems for cafeterias, restaurants, hotels, shop fronts, and interior dividers; and a securit accessories section for fittings and hardware.

The folding door system pages received editorial-quality treatment, explaining the dual-use space design opportunities these systems enable — appropriate for hospitality and commercial clients who need to understand the architectural application potential, not just the product specification. Technical tables for sheet dimensions (“freely defined by net width X and height Y, Z”) were designed for scan-readability by specifiers working with precise project dimensions.

A dedicated financial transparency section — Ισολογισμός & Εκθέσεις Ελέγχου (Balance Sheets & Audit Reports) — was built as a standalone page including audited accounts for subsidiary Vetrotherm, a notable design decision that signals the corporate governance standards appropriate for a company positioning itself as a leading European-scale manufacturer and inviting B2B partnership inquiries.

Technical build

Product section image galleries — essential for a glass manufacturer where the visual quality and application variety of installed products is a primary sales tool — were implemented using Joomla gallery components, allowing rich image sequences showing securit door fittings, folding partition installations, and glazing applications across hospitality, retail, and residential contexts. The site’s international profile on glassonweb.com and other industry directories links back to romvosglass.gr, making the site a critical anchor for the company’s global B2B enquiry pipeline.
